Founded by James McDonald, Fort Construction is a Vancouver building company specializing in renovations, new residential projects, and commercial spaces.

FOUNDER & CEO JAMES MCDONALD

James McDonald has worked in the construction industry for over fifteen years, having started his career as an electrician before moving into carpentry in his native land, England. After immigrating to Canada in 2009, James worked for some of Vancouver's top designers and architects on a wide variety of new builds, renovations, and commercial spaces before starting his own company.  James is strongly committed to taking his clients from dreams to reality, with results that are energy efficient, sustainable, and built to last.
